One of the things we can always look forward to is the fall colors. I hope to take advantage and capture some great images this year. A few years ago while in Sandy Bottom Nature Park in Hampton, VA I ran into fellow photographer and friend Victor Rodriguez. While talking to him I looked up and saw this image. Always be prepared.
This is a series that I started before but did not finish. So, today and from time to time I will share with you photographers you should know. Just ask someone if you can photograph them. They will either say yes or no. Sometimes they will give you a great big smile.
Don't be afraid to photograph people.
People are friendly and you can find them very easily.
While working on a photo project I was in Sandy Bottom Nature Park in Hampton, VA. This couple was taking their picture with a cell phone when I walked past. I stopped and asked if I could take their picture. They said yes and I offered and emailed them a copy later that Saturday afternoon.
For those of you who know me I use to photograph weddings and do portrait work. Although I don't photograph weddings anymore I still photograph people. So, this week I will be featuring people and the things that they do.

Here is what this morning's sunrise looked like from the Poquoson Yacht Club on Messick Road in Poquoson, Virginia
Met this gentleman in Colonial Williamsburg during a photo walk. He asked why there was such a large group of photographers in the area. Our photo club Hampton Roads Digital Photography Club was there practicing skills. I asked if I could take his portrait and he agreed. His name is Stephen Christoff.
