You don't have to photograph the entire subject.
Before and after it rains you can always find good images. Subjects can take on a very interesting look when wet. Today's photograph has a few Lightroom adjustments/split toning and just a little color added.
In the Hampton Roads area we have had a lot of rain. Stay dry.

Here are some great resources for learning photography on the web. The first two are subscription based and will cost you some money. The others don't charge but are still great resources. There are many great photography sites and these are just a few. I will share more in the near future.
Glyn Dewis is a photographer, retoucher and trainer from Oxford in the UK. This guy has awesome Photoshop skills. Please check his website and portfolio here.
We had a wonderful day at the Worldwide Photowalk 2013-Yorktown VA. We had 32 photographers of the 28,000+ who signed up Worldwide. You can view some of the photos from the day here.
Today, October 5, 2013 is the 6th Annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk. So far about 26,000 people are signed up for this year's event. The are walks schedule all over the world. This just might be the best pastrami sandwich in NYC.
This week has brought us a Government Shutdown. I'm reminded of Marvin Gaye's song What's Going On. (written by: Cleveland, Benson, Gaye) There is a part of the song that says "...only love can conquer hate". Today that song seems so prophetic. Today there is too much hate, too much rhetoric and it seems that nobody wants to listen anymore. Enough said.....
