Me and my good friend Jim "Brickee" Hansen had the wonderful opportunity this year to photograph "Faces in the Crowd" for the Daily Press. For the last several years we and some other talented photographers have photographed the people in the crowd that attend the high school football games. Its a fun assignment and I know I have enjoyed it very much. The games in September start with good light but by half-time the light is not so great. You have to depend on a combination of stadium lighting, high ISO and/or flash to get the job done. Shoot a game in November or December and its all low light/flash. It looks easy but it can be very tricky. You can check out our work here: Faces in the Crowd.
